Oak-Leyden Developmental Services is proud to introduce Sandy Vanoskey as its new Director of Residential Services. Sandy brings more than two decades of expertise to her role and most recently worked as an Operations Manager at ResCare, overseeing 14 community integrated living arrangements for adults with developmental disabilities.
“I am truly grateful for the opportunity I have been given to join such a wonderful team of people,” says Vanoskey. “With 21 years of experience in the intellectual and developmental disabilities field, I hope to bring knowledge, compassion, and new ideas to Oak-Leyden. I am looking forward to getting to know all of the individuals we serve and to positively impacting and enhancing their independence, as well as their social and community connections. ”
Vanoskey holds her B.A. in Social Work from Augustana College. She is certified as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional. Vanoskey is a volunteer at P.A.W.S. Tinley Park Animal Shelter and has served agencies dedicated to helping people with developmental disabilities throughout the state of Illinois.
