“Our Place” locations help adults with developmental disabilities over the age of 50 enjoy activities at a pace that is right for them. The program was developed with consultation support from gerontology experts at Circle of Life. “Our Place” rooms offer:
- Professionally trained direct support staff who provide personalized assistance and tailored activities to adults with developmental disabilities aged 50 and older, meeting an important community healthcare need.
- Field trips, crafts, games, snacks, and more that match the interests and needs of participants.
- A quiet, comfortable, and calming environment, attentive to those with sensory disorders.
